Needlework Group

The needlecrafting group meets on Thursday mornings from 10am until about noon in the 'conference room' on the main floor, across from the church office.    Some of the items they enjoy making are:

        Chemo caps
        Prayer Shawls
        Baby blankets
        Preemie blankets
        Lap robes
        Twin size afghans

.....with most being made from donated yarn and all are given away

The group also makes some other items to be sold at the annual UMW bazaar.  And sometimes they are knitting on a project for themselves but enjoy the fellowship of the group.

If you would like to learn a needlecraft, they are very good at teaching knitting, crochet and other needle crafts.    Anyone is welcome to come share in the fellowship and joy of needlecrafting.

If you would like more information about this group, contact Evelyn Gould through the church office.
