The choir is a strong presence every Sunday at the 11:00 service, and occasionally at 9:30 as well. 

 

At Audubon Park UMC, the choir year is the first Sunday after Labor Day through the end of June.

 

Choir practice is held 7-9 Wednesday evenings, and Sunday mornings at 10:30.  Choir members need to be present for both rehearsals.

 

Newcomers are welcome.  Singers high school and up make up the choir.  Talk with Chris Moreau about level of music reading skill needed, and how to find the choir room.   

 

Chris Moreau teaches music on the elementary level.  She was named Outstanding Teacher in District 81 in 2004.  Choir members new to singing find her a good teacher; skilled singers appreciate her musicianship.  She selects a wide and interesting range of music, from classical to contemporary, world music to gospel, according to the skills of the choir members.
