Jr. & Sr. High Youth Group - Sundays 6:00 - 8:00 pm
YES We're back and going strong. Despite being in the planning stages for the year's events - more to come later - we've been enjoying a boatload of fun activities. Last Sunday we played broom hockey, with remedial brooms. Having picked up a number of cheap brooms, we didn't realize until they were "in play" that when you whap one cheap broom with another THEY BEND! Eventually almost every player was flailing about with a broom that rotated in 3 or 4 places. It made connecting with the "puck" [little round bouncy ball] rather a challenge.
We are thrilled to have two new friends that joined us.
We start each night's get together with some sort of play/fellowship activity and then spend the the last half in planning upcoming events, discussion about living as Jesus would or life challenges for a Christian young person in today's world. Mostly it is just a safe place for fun fellowship with your "fellow ships".

MOVIE NIGHTS ARE BACK!!October 12, Friday, will be our first. Starts at 7:00 PM and runs to whenever the movie is over...
Plans are to watch “Hocus Pocus” as befits the season. We’ll have lots
of popcorn and goodies. Invite a friend and come have some fun.

Mark this down as it will be an evening of FUN - FAB - FREAKY STUFF!
Actually we don't really know what it's going to be as that remains to be determined. It's all in the mind of the infamous Adam Bassett who is the mastermind behind this night of fun. We're hosting members of two other Youth Groups who will join us for all sorts of activities.
Do you know what DIP THE DUCK is?! Neither do I, but I look forward to finding out. So pencil it in and DON'T MISS OUT AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

11/16 NOVEMBER MOVIE NIGHT - DosPENCIL THIS INTO YOUR IPOD – we don’t know what the
movie will be but we will definitely have a terrific evening of movie
TBD, popcorn and other yummies. [Movie Night will be suspended for the
month of December as we are all just too crazed and dazed during the
Christmas Season.]

THAT'S RIGHT! It's your chance for an evening of fun, laughter, open mic, and dessert. Does it get any better? I think not. There will be talents you've never dreamed existed, much less seen. And it all happens in a comedy lounge setting in the Fellowship Hall, and did I mention dessert?!
